Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, will convene a Justice Reform Summit on May 27 and 28 under the theme “Enhancing the Administration of Justice for Economic Growth, Investment Protection, and Security in Lagos State.”
This information was communicated by Titilayo ShittaBey-Jeje, the Solicitor General/Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice. The summit, to be held at the Marriott Hotel in GRA Ikeja, Lagos, will have Governor Sanwo-Olu as the chief host.
The Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will chair the event, while the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, will serve as the special guest of honor. ShittaBey-Jeje emphasized that Lagos State has been a trailblazer in justice reform, showcasing numerous landmark achievements.
The Ministry of Justice has provided a platform for stakeholders and the public to contribute their perspectives, observations, and recommendations, ensuring a broad spectrum of Nigerian voices are heard in the reform process.
