Encouraging homegrown enterprise, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State appeals to residents to explore investing in lithium processing.

At the inauguration of a 40-tonnes-per-day lithium processing facility established by Asgard Mining and Processing Plant in Roguwa, Karu Local Government Area, Governor Sule emphasized the importance of local investment.

Highlighting the initiative of Asgard Mining and Processing Plant, the governor urged others to follow suit, emphasizing the potential for establishing lithium processing factories.

Governor Sule noted that despite the absence of mining sites in Roguwa, Asgard Mining and Processing Plant is efficiently processing lithium and expressed willingness to procure lithium from local sources.

Obinna Anaekwe, Managing Director/CEO of Asgard Mining and Processing Plant, emphasized the value added by their onsite lithium processing from locally available sources.
