- Julen Lopetegui is reportedly close to becoming the manager of West Ham at the end of the current season
- The current manager, David Moyes, faces pressure due to poor results, prompting rumors of Lopetegui’s potential appointment
Julen Lopetegui has reportedly agreed to become the manager of West Ham at the end of the current season. Although no formal contract has been signed yet, the 57-year-old is nearing a return to management following his departure from Wolves in August last year.
West Ham’s current manager, David Moyes, has faced mounting pressure due to a string of poor results. The team has won only one of its last nine Premier League games and was eliminated from the Europa League in the quarter-finals.
Lopetegui, a former Spain and Real Madrid coach, has been linked with various managerial positions since leaving Wolves and is believed to be interested in returning to the Premier League.
