Amid Public Curiosity, Presidency Releases Video Of Tinubu Strolling To Office After Trips

He returned to the country on Wednesday, after over two weeks of being away.

President Bola Tinubu has officially resumed work at the presidential villa in Abuja, a day after returning from his foreign trips.

Within Nigeria reported that Tinubu returned to Nigeria yesterday after trips to The Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.

On April 22, Tinubu left Abuja, the country’s capital city, for The Netherlands on an official visit.

Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, said the president was visiting The Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

After the engagements in The Netherlands, Tinubu proceeded to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting between April 28 and 29.

On Thursday, the presidency released a 28-second video clip of Tinubu walking from his residence to his office, in a move to quell growing speculations regarding his health and recent activities.

In the clip shared on X by Olusegun Dada, special assistant to President on social media, Tinubu was accompanied by Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS) to the President, Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA), and his security aides.

The video came on the heels of public curiosity and concern over President’s return to the country after a two-week absence.

Uba Sani, Caleb Mutfwang, governors of Kaduna and Plateau respectively also paid a visit to the President on Thursday.

The purpose of their visit remains sketchy at press time.
