The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of 64 suspected internet fraudsters in Ede, Osun State.
The Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Friday.
Oyewale said the suspects were nabbed following actionable intelligence on their suspicious fraudulent activities in the area.
Items recovered from them, according to the statement, include 18 exotic vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, three PlayStation games, five motorcycles, and other incriminating documents, among others.
It was added that they will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
