Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have abducted some students in Delta State.
They were abducted around the Ewreni junction axis along the East-West Road in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The students were said to be returning from Calabar, Cross Rivers State capital, when the Toyota sienna vehicle they were travelling in was ambushed by the gunmen.
According to DAILY POST, the incident occurred on Friday and the herdsmen are demanding N10 million before they can release the students.
Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, is yet to comment or issue a statement on the incident.
