Ahead of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage, Edo State’s Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Chairman, Sheik Ibrahim Oyarkhua, confirms the vaccination of all intending pilgrims.

Speaking in Benin, the state capital, Sheik Oyarekhua assured journalists of the state’s readiness for the upcoming Hajj.

He revealed that all 300 pilgrims have received vaccinations, and their yellow cards and visas have already been processed for their journey to Saudi Arabia.

“We’re set to depart this week. All pilgrims are vaccinated and have the necessary travel documents in hand,” stated Sheik Oyarekhua.

Encouraging effective representation, he urged pilgrims to collaborate with board officials for any concerns.

Accommodation, meals, transport, and security arrangements in Saudi Arabia are finalized, according to Sheik Oyarekhua.

Pre-departure sessions will further educate pilgrims on conduct in the holy land, with Governor Godwin Obaseki offering advice and farewell wishes.
