- Says arrangements was part of Oluremi Tinubu’s earlier planned visit to the Emir’s palace
The Department of State Security, (DSS), has described as untrue and fabricated reports that its operatives stormed the Kano Emir’s palace.
The State Director of the DSS in Kano, Muhammad Alhassan, said there was no incident of the Emir’s palace invasion as reported in the Media.
He explained that what was misconstrued was the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu’s earlier planned visit to the Emir’s palace, saying the first lady had a scheduled visit to Kano on an assignment and also planned to visit the Emir’s Palace but learned that the Emir was out of town and postponed her visit.
“We drafted our men as part of our schedules on the visit of the First Lady Oluremi Tinubu but learned that she was not going there anymore and we withdrew our men”, he added.
