Currently, efforts are being made to repair the train, with about three carriages off the tracks.

Despite the fact that the train stopped in a mountainous area, security personnel, including soldiers and police officers, were present to ensure the safety of the passengers.

The security personnel were quick to respond to the incident, ensuring that no harm came to the passengers.

Although the train derailed, the passengers are reported to be safe, with no casualties or injuries reported.

The passengers are currently waiting for the repair work to be completed so they can continue their journey to Abuja.

An investigation into the cause of the derailment has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The investigation will help to identify the cause of the derailment and prevent future occurrences.

Normalcy is expected to be restored soon, as the repair team works to get the train back on track, and passengers are expected to continue their journey to Abuja.

The incident has caused a delay, but the passengers are expected to arrive in Abuja later in the day.

The Nigerian Railway Corporation has promised to investigate the incident and take necessary steps to ensure the safety of passengers.
