Enugu set to become gambling tourism destination

To support this goal, it will host the Enugu State Gaming Conference at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu next month

The Enugu State Government aims to position itself as a premier destination for gambling tourism in Nigeria.

To support this goal, it will host the Enugu State Gaming Conference at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu next month.

In a statement released on Monday, the Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission announced that the conference will offer a platform for industry stakeholders to explore new opportunities and collaborations in the gaming sector.

The conference, themed “Exploring the Future of Gaming: Innovations and Collaborations,” will focus on advancing the industry’s future.

The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of ESGC, Arinze Arum, said the maiden conference “marks a pivotal moment for the gaming industry in Enugu State. It’s an opportunity for us to showcase how far we’ve come in regulating and managing the gaming landscape in our state”.

He mentioned, “We believe that through strategic partnerships between casino operators and hospitality providers, we can unlock new avenues for growth and prosperity within our state.

“This conference is about more than just discussing ideas – it is about taking concrete steps towards making Enugu a premier destination for gaming enthusiasts.”

The conference will provide insights into regulatory practices, market trends, and investment opportunities in the gaming sector. Attendees will have the chance to engage with Governor Peter Mbah about his vision for sustainable industry growth. The Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission (ESGC), the regulator of gaming activities in Enugu State, organizes the event.
