Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are scheduled for a rematch on December 21st, as confirmed by the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s general entertainment authority.
Usyk secured a split decision victory over Fury on May 18th, making him the first undisputed champion of the four-belt era.
Initially targeted for October, the rematch has been postponed to December, according to Turki Alalshikh.
In their previous bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Usyk emerged victorious, adding Fury’s WBC belt to his WBA, WBO, and IBF titles.
The 37-year-old Ukrainian remains undefeated, boasting a perfect record of 22 wins in his professional career.
