A two-term member of the House of Representatives, Bishop Alex Ukam, has praised President Bola Tinubu and the 10th National Assembly for reinstating the old national anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.” Ukam believes this move will ignite a true sense of patriotism and unity among Nigerians.
Ukam, who serves as the Federal Commissioner representing Cross River State in the National Population Commission (NPC), urged Nigerians to remain patient, hopeful, and prayerful as President Tinubu works to reposition the country. He asserted that Tinubu is on track to correct the inherited issues and change the negative narratives affecting the nation.
In a statement celebrating Tinubu’s one-year anniversary in office, Ukam encouraged Nigerians to support the president’s efforts. “Let’s be prayerful, hopeful, and patient with Mr. President as he continues to put his very best to revamp and redeem the nation from her current difficulties. I believe that with God by our side, our difficult times will soon be over, and Nigeria shall prosper even more under President Bola Tinubu,” Ukam stated.
He highlighted the achievements of the current administration, praising Tinubu’s accessibility, dedication to service, and outstanding performance in governance. Ukam thanked the president for his significant accomplishments, noting Tinubu’s patriotism, courage, and commitment to building a Nigeria that all citizens can be proud of. He described Tinubu as an exceptional leader, mentor, and father of the nation.
Ukam also emphasized the president’s determination and zero tolerance for corruption, qualities that Tinubu has demonstrated throughout his first year in office.
