  • Keyamo directed the Consumer Protection Department of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to engage Air France and ensure the stranded passengers are brought to Nigeria

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN), disclosed on Saturday that some Nigerians on an Air France flight from Paris to Abuja are stranded in Chad.

The flight had earlier dropped some passengers in Chad before becoming stranded. Keyamo directed the Consumer Protection Department of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to engage Air France and ensure the stranded passengers are brought to Nigeria.

He promised to update Nigerians on the outcome and urged Air France in Nigeria to issue a statement on the fate of the stranded passengers immediately.

He wrote: “It has come to my attention that some Nigerians on an Air France flight from Paris to Abuja are presently stranded in Chad, from where the flight earlier dropped some passengers.
