President Bola Ahmed Tinubu experienced a slip and fall while approaching a vehicle designated to convey him to the parade around the Eagles Square as part of the Democracy Day celebration.
This incident occurred shortly after he had delivered a nationwide broadcast.
At the Eagles Square on Wednesday morning, Tinubu was surrounded by members of the Armed Forces and his personal aides.
Dressed in traditional white agbada and his signature cap, Tinubu struggled to steady himself by holding onto the vehicle but ultimately fell to the ground while ascending the car. His aides promptly rushed to help him back to his feet.
Despite the fall, the parade continued. The president, maintaining his composure, waved to the crowd as the vehicle moved slowly through Eagles Square.
