The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bennett Igweh, has ordered an immediate investigation into the murder of an army general. The incident occurred in an urban housing estate in Abuja, the nation’s capital, early Saturday morning.
According to a statement issued by FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the tragic event occurred at Sunshine Homes Estate. Armed robbers attacked, resulting in the death of Brigadier General Uwem Harold Udokwere at around 3:00 a.m. on June 22, 2024.
