Maj Gen Usman Yusuf, Director-General of the Nigerian Army Land Forces Simulation Centre, has called on Nigerians to pray for the Armed Forces and provide them with information to combat security challenges.

Speaking at a special Juma’at prayer in Abuja for the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2024, Yusuf emphasized the importance of public support and prayers for overcoming security issues.

The prayer event marked the beginning of the week-long NADCEL 2024, ending on July 6.

Capt. Salisu Musa, who led the prayer, stressed the need for parents to instill religious values in their children to prevent insecurity and terrorism.

He urged society members to act as preachers and counselors. NADCEL commemorates the 161-year history and achievements of the Nigerian Army.
