Recall that for months on end, Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike have been embroiled in a dispute over the political control of the State.
Reacting to the tense situation in the State and the feud between the two political actors, the senator stated that only God can proffer a lasting solution to the crisis in the State.
Posting on X, Sani wrote: “Rivers State has been left in the hands of God to solve the problem.”

President Bola Tinubu’s earlier intervention did not yield the expected result.
In a related development, Governor Fubara, has bemoaned the prolonged silence of the Nigeria Police Force over the attempted detonation of an explosive device in the State.
He described the attitude and body language of the police to the incident as deeply concerning.
A clutch of protesters demanding the elongation of the tenure of former chairmen of local government councils were said to be behind the failed explosion in Port Harcourt.
Fubara stated that if such nefarious act was committed by his supporters, they would have been arrested and made to face immediate terrorism charges.
The governor voiced his displeasure after swearing in Emmanuel Onengiye-Ofori Frank-Fubara as the new Commissioner for Finance at the Executive Chambers of Government House in Port Harcourt on Monday.
