Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin on Friday was installed as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
He was enthroned at the Labosinde compound, the family whose right is it to crown any Olubadan of Ibadanland.
It’s gathered that immediately after the crowning, the new Olubadan moved to Ile Osemeji at Oja, Oba area.
Ile Osemeji is traditionally regarded as the place where the divination on the future of Ibadan was revealed.
The new monarch of the ancient town is expected to move from Ile Osemeji to the frontage of Mapo Hall.
Also, the state governor, Seyi Makinde, is expected to present the staff of office and other paraphernalia of office to Oba Olakulehin from any moment from now.
