Many are feared trapped as a two-storey residential building located in Phase Two, Site Two in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory collapsed on Saturday.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the building located beside the popular Cupid Hotel on Cupid Road, Sultan Dasuki Way in Kubwa was formerly a hotel known as Al-Hilal.
It later became a hospital, but since the hospital owners quit the premises, it became a residential apartment.
The partial collapse happened around 6:30 am, but rescue operations were delayed due to the lack of necessary equipment needed to fast-track rescue operations by emergency responders and security personnel.
