- The Bauchi State Government aims to reassure its citizens of their commitment to safety and security.
- The government’s zero-tolerance approach to protests demonstrates its resolve to protect the well-being of its citizens and maintain a peaceful environment within the state.
The Bauchi State Government has taken a firm stance against protests, warning individuals and groups to refrain from organizing demonstrations within the state.
This directive comes as a response to the planned nationwide protests, which have raised concerns about potential disruptions in Bauchi State.
According to Ibrahim Kashim, the Secretary to the State Government, the state will not tolerate any form of protest.
His statement is a clear indication of the government’s determination to maintain peace and stability, and to prevent any unrest that may arise from protests.
“On the part of the government, we completely dissociate ourselves from any protest. We are not aware, we are not welcoming any protest, and it’s not going to happen in Bauchi State,” Kashim said.
While highlighting the state’s reputation for peace and tranquility, Kashim emphasized that the government is resolute in maintaining the atmosphere, cautioning the organizers to stage the protest elsewhere and not in Bauchi State.
