The memo from the Police Department of Operations in Abuja outlined several key directives:

All personnel must wear camouflage, while Police Mobile Force (PMF) units are to wear black with denim trousers.

Only trained and trustworthy officers are to be deployed for protest operations.

Alcohol consumption is strictly forbidden, and personnel are to be fully accountable for their actions.

Excess arms and ammunition are to be moved to state headquarters armories.

All personnel are confined to barracks and must remain vigilant.

The memo emphasized that any lapses will not be tolerated, with strict consequences for non-compliance. The order is effective immediately.
