- The coalition condemned the country’s leaders for corruption
The Arewa Youth Ambassadors, a coalition from Northern Nigeria, declared their intent to join the 10-day #EndBadGovernance protest starting Thursday, August 1.
In a statement signed by Comrade Yahaya M. Abdullahi, the group expressed their determination to resist oppression, stating they would “rather die fighting for our rights and freedom than succumb to the oppressive forces of hunger and poverty.”
The coalition condemned the country’s leaders for corruption and economic mismanagement, vowing not to be silenced or intimidated.
“We demand change, justice, and we demand it now,” they said, calling on all Nigerians to join their cause and stand together for a better future.
The group emphasized their willingness to risk their lives for the fight, asserting, “We better die on the street by our country’s bullet than live a life of slavery and oppression.”
