Ayo Akinyelure, former Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, has assured Nigerians that despite current economic hardships, relief is on the way.

In a statement from Akure, the Ondo state capital, Akinyelure addressed the ongoing nationwide protests against bad governance, expressing optimism about President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms.

Akinyelure commended the youth of Ondo State for their peaceful conduct during the protests, praising them as true indigenes for avoiding destruction of public and private property. He assured that youth unemployment would soon be eradicated both in Ondo State and across Nigeria.

“The planned programs of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, when fully rolled out and implemented, will lead to nationwide celebration of his leadership,” Akinyelure stated. He highlighted his role in Abuja, working indirectly to support Tinubu’s administration as the National Committee Chairman of the voices of Tinubu-Shettima supporters, alongside 15 other Senators from six geopolitical zones.

Akinyelure revealed ongoing efforts to develop youth empowerment programs across all geopolitical zones, with the approval of the APC National Chairman, aimed at making a significant impact.

He also expressed gratitude to student unions across Ondo State for maintaining peace on campuses and appealed to the youth to continue engaging in dialogue with the state government. He encouraged them to embrace agriculture and other self-employment programs to foster economic development in Ondo State.
