Tinubu Appoints Michael Ango As Acting FCT IRS Chair

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Michael Hadi Ango as the acting Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS).

In his new role, Ango, who hails from Kebbi State, will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue generation and ensuring fiscal sustainability within the Federal Capital Territory. He is expected to leverage his extensive experience and proven expertise in revenue administration, financial management, and organizational leadership to further strengthen the Service.

Ango holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He attended the Nigeria Law School in 2003 and participated in the Executive Education Programme on Comparative Tax Policy and Administration at Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2013.
