The son of a landlord has allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl in Lagos State.
The incident happened at Alakuko in Ifako Ijaye local government area of the state.
An X user with the handle Oghenerie tweeted about the incident and called the public attention to it, disclosed that the incident happened on Tuesday.
He also shared videos of the victim.

Rhwaley added that when the family confronted the landlord about the incident, he called their bluff, saying “Nothing will happen”.

Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Lagos State Governor, assured that no one is helpless in the matter and urged the family to contact the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team for assistance.
Reacting to the post, Gawat, wrote, “Helpless ke …. Nobody is helpless on this matter in this State. Call #Lagosdsva SHARPLY”
Many netizens and social media influencers have also lent their voices to the demand for justice, calling on relevant authorities to wade into the matter and punish the offender.
