The Kano State Police Command has announced a significant breakthrough in its efforts to combat crime in the state, following a series of raids on criminal hideouts and black spots in Kano Metropolis.

According to a statement released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, 41 suspects have been arrested and dangerous weapons and intoxicating drugs recovered, with investigations ongoing.

The Command attributed the success to its intelligence-led policing strategy and praised the public for their support, saying that crimes are reducing drastically in the state.
