On Friday, President Bola Tinubu formally inaugurated Justice Kekere-Ekun as the Acting CJN, pending Senate approval, at the State House’s Council Chamber in Abuja.
In her remarks to journalists after the swearing-in ceremony, the Acting CJN outlined her ambitious plans to revitalize the judiciary.
She pledged to spearhead a transformation that would enhance the judiciary’s reputation and earn the public’s trust.
Kekere-Ekun emphasized that this endeavor requires a collective commitment, acknowledging that everyone recognizes the need for improvement and will work collaboratively to achieve a more effective judiciary.
