The Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, has passed away.
According to Daily Trust, the commissioner was found dead in his room on Monday.
Not much is known about the circumstances surrounding his demise as details are still hazy.
Sources who are privy to the development disclosed that concerns began to mount when the late commissioner was not seen outside at the time he usually comes out in the morning.
This prompted the worried locals to force open the door of his room only to find his lifeless body.
“Oga is no more, he died early this morning,” the source told Daily Trust.
