- Personal terms remain to be finalized, as McTominay considers the move after previously declining offers from other clubs
Napoli has agreed with Manchester United to sign midfielder Scott McTominay for approximately €30 million (£25.4 million). While the deal is in place between the clubs, McTominay has yet to agree on personal terms with the Italian Serie A side and finalize his decision to move.
This marks the second consecutive year that Manchester United has been open to selling the 27-year-old Scotland international, who is a club academy graduate. Earlier in August, United rejected a £20 million bid from Fulham for McTominay.
Despite the interest from other clubs, McTominay had previously declined an opportunity to join West Ham last season. He made 32 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, scoring seven goals, and was also part of the starting lineup in the FA Cup final victory against Manchester City.
As negotiations continue, it remains to be seen whether McTominay will move to Napoli or remain at Old Trafford for the upcoming season.
