- KADCHMA Director General Abubakar Hassan highlighted that the scheme allows pensioners to access healthcare from any public or private facility in the state
The Kaduna State Government has introduced a health insurance scheme for pensioners, launched on Monday through a partnership between the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) and the Nigerian Union of Pensioners.
State Health Commissioner Umma Ahmed noted that the scheme provides affordable healthcare coverage, reducing the financial burden on pensioners. She praised Governor Senator Uba Sani for his commitment to pensioners’ welfare and urged other organizations to adopt similar initiatives.
KADCHMA Director General Abubakar Hassan highlighted that the scheme allows pensioners to access healthcare from any public or private facility in the state for an annual premium of less than N10,600. The initiative is part of the state’s broader goal to ensure accessible and affordable healthcare for all residents.
