The Gombe State Executive Council has approved the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and the payment of N265 million in earned academic allowance arrears to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Gombe State University branch.
Commissioner for Information, Mijinyawa Tilde, revealed this after the 41st Executive Council Meeting, chaired by Governor Muhammadu Yahaya.
The MTEF, which includes the economic and fiscal update and fiscal strategy paper, will guide the preparation of the state’s 2025 budget, according to Finance Commissioner Mohammed Magaji.
Additionally, the council approved N394 million for the completion of projects at the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, including fencing and erosion control.
