Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Friday inspected infrastructure upgrades at the E-Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
During the visit, he also officially launched the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Private Sector Collaboration and Renovation Programme.
Keyamo’s spokesperson, Tunde Moshood, said the upgrades form part of the minister’s five-point agenda, focusing on improving airport facilities through partnerships with the private sector.
The E-Wing toilet renovation, completed by Max Impact Africa, was highlighted as a benchmark for future projects across the country’s airports.
Keyamo praised the programme as a significant step toward transforming Nigeria’s aviation sector, ensuring the country’s airports meet international standards and remain competitive in the global aviation industry.
