Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has appointed 344 new aides, just under 10 weeks before the November 16 governorship election in the state.
The new appointees include 28 Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and 316 Special Assistants (SAs). According to Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the appointments were distributed across the state’s 18 local government areas, 33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), and 203 political wards.
In a press statement, Adeniyan noted, “In continuation of efforts to enhance governance and service delivery to the people of the state, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs).”
These appointments are part of the governor’s efforts to strengthen governance and service delivery across the state.
