Kaduna police have arrested a notorious kidnapper and five armed robbers in two separate operations.
Police spokesperson Mansir Hassan said the armed robbers were caught after a gunfight on September 10 in Karji/Sabon Tasha, where one suspect, known as “Baban Dodo,” was killed. Five others, including two men and a woman, were detained.
In a separate raid on September 11, a suspected kidnapper, Saidu Inusa, was arrested, and an AK-47 rifle was recovered.
The state police commissioner commended the efforts and called for greater community cooperation to enhance public safety.
