Abia governor urges corps members to uphold national values

Prof. Kalu urged Corps members to uphold the national core values instilled during the three-week course

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, represented by Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Kenneth Kalu, has officially closed the NYSC 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 Orientation Course.

During the event, Prof. Kalu urged Corps members to uphold the national core values instilled during the three-week course as they begin their service in communities across the state.

He emphasized that the service year offers an opportunity to make a positive impact and assured the Corps members of the government’s support, particularly regarding their welfare and security.

The State Coordinator of NYSC, Barr. Mrs. Gladys Adama, commended the efforts of the camp management and officials in ensuring the course’s success and encouraged the Corps members to apply the skills and values they learned during their service year.
