A top Adamawa State politician and former Senate Majority leader, Jonathan Zwingina has reportedly passed away.
Sources familiar with the development disclosed that he died on Wednesday, October 2, in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
However, Zwingina family is yet to issue a statement on his reported demise.
According to Daily Post, the source stated that his death is a great loss to the Nungurala people, Adamawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
Senator Jonathan Zwingina was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party who represented Adamawa Southern Senatorial District two terms (1999-2007) but later defected to the All Progressives Congress.
He turned 70 years about two months ago, August 2024
