- To advise all Red Bull teams
Former Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is set to become the new Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull, according to Sky Germany.
Klopp, who has been out of work since leaving Anfield in the summer, will begin in the new role from January 1, 2025.
It is understood he has already signed a long-term contract.
From January, Klopp will advise all Red Bull teams (Leipzig, Salzburg, New York, etc.) on coaching matters, playing philosophy, development and transfers of talents/head coaches and more.
Speaking after becoming new Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull Group, Klopp insisted that his passion for football has not changed.
“After almost 25 years on the sideline, I could not be more excited to get involved in a project like this,” Klopp was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying.
“The role may have changed but my passion for football, it has not.”
