Man in viral video not Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state

A video circulating on social media showing a man resembling Ondo Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa engaged in a heated argument with women has been clarified.

The man’s facial features are similar to Aiyedatiwa’s, but upon closer inspection, differences become apparent.

A woman accused him of physical assault, holding onto his clothes during the altercation — the incident’s location and cause remain unclear.

Social media users claim the man is Aiyedatiwa, but WITHIN NIGERIA’s deep research has revealed the discrepancies.

Notably, the man’s dentition and voice differ significantly from Aiyedatiwa’s; the man has a gap-toothed smile, unlike Aiyedatiwa ; his voice is husky and raspy, contrasting with Aiyedatiwa’s soft-spoken nature.

Even the beard styles diverge, while the resemblance is striking, it ends there.

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s media aide, Allen Sowore, dismissed the video as a ploy to tarnish the governor’s image.

Sowore highlighted key differences in facial and vocal features.

“For the benefit of the unsuspecting public… it is crucial to clarify that the man in the video is not the Governor of Ondo State,” Sowore stated.

The statement outlines five distinct differences:

1. Facial Hair: Aiyedatiwa no longer wears that type of beard.

2. Diastema: The man has a noticeable gap between teeth, unlike Aiyedatiwa.

3. Voice: The man’s loud voice differs from Aiyedatiwa’s tone.

4. Work history: Aiyedatiwa has never worked in the UK.

5. Face shape: Aiyedatiwa has an oval face, unlike the man’s round face.

He asked the public to examine the video carefully and note these distinctions.
