  • The workshop aims to equip educators with updated skills, emphasizing continuous training as essential for meeting 21st-century classroom demands

Edo State University’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dawood Egbefo, announced that 314 lecturers will undergo training on modern teaching techniques to enhance academic performance.

The workshop in Iyamoh, Edo State, is designed to equip academic staff with updated teaching methods.

Prof. Egbefo emphasized that continuous training is vital for teachers to meet the demands of the 21st-century classroom. “No amount of time spent in university can fully prepare teachers for classroom tasks.

Constant training and retraining are necessary to ensure they are equipped for modern-day challenges,” he stated.
