As part of effort to address the perennial internal wrangling that besets the party, senators elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have met.

The over three-hour closed-door meeting was presided by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro.
An expanded Committee involving former Governors on the platform of PDP and some notable leaders have been mandated to meet with aggrieved members, Moro, who represents represents Benue South Senatorial District, told newsmen after the meeting.
The Committee members, he said, have been charged with identifying areas of grievances and ensure peaceful resolution before turning in their reports for the party to move ahead.
