  • On Wednesday, Vice-President Kashim Shettima also left the country for a two-day working visit to Sweden.
  • Nigerians have raised concerns over their absence, claiming that no one is in charge of the country’s affairs.
  • The presidency had stated that the absence of the country’s first and second citizens does not translate to a vacuum in the nation’s leadership.

President Bola Tinubu has returned home to Nigeria after a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom.

He arrived in Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Saturday evening, marking the end of his vacation.

Olusegun Dada, the president’s social media aide, shared the news of Tinubu’s arrival on his X page.

President Tinubu had initially departed Abuja on October 2 for a two-week break in the UK.
