The police command in Lagos has arrested three suspects allegedly caught in possession of human parts in the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesperson in Lagos, on Tuesday.

The police spokesperson stated that the suspects were arrested by men of the rapid response squad (RRS) on October 15.

He noted that two suspects were arrested during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge.

“The suspects, Isah Amohullahi ‘m’ aged 30 and Abubakar Isah ‘m’ aged 32 were in possession of
human tongues — arrested in a taxi on October 15, 2024 during a routine stop-and-search on Otedola bridge,” he said.

“Further investigations led the operatives to the arrest of another suspect from whom the parts were bought, Gbolahan Temidayo ‘m’, in Oyingbo Market, Lagos.”

The PPRO added that investigations are ongoing, and upon completion, suspects will be arraigned if found culpable.
