At least nineteen persons have lost their lives in a fatal auto crash in Nigeria’s middle belt State of Plateau.
The mishap happened on Tuesday morning at Hawan Kibo area of Riyom Local Government Council of the State.
The vehicle was said to be travelling from Adamawa State to Abuja when the accident occurred.
Peter Yakubu, Plateau State spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the incident.
According to him, all passengers in the vehicle died.
‘No one survived the accident. The sole person taken to the hospital later succumbed.
“Eighteen died at the scene, while one died at the hospital,” he added.
