- High Chief Bunty Onuigbo, APC’s South East Zonal Secretary, condemned the move
APC leaders in Anambra State have criticised President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as a minister-designate, calling it a “betrayal of party principles” that could harm party unity in the region.
During an emergency meeting in Awka, the leaders expressed frustration, labelling the appointment a breach of loyalty that risks demoralising APC supporters.
High Chief Bunty Onuigbo, APC’s South East Zonal Secretary, condemned the move, saying it empowers opposition figures and undermines party cohesion. He questioned whether the appointment was intended to support the interests of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Onuigbo accused APGA of monopolising government benefits and empowerment schemes, while APC members are sidelined. The leaders plan to escalate their grievances to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) and National Executive Committee (NEC).
