- Dare was reacting to the recent comments by the former Vice President where he advised President Tinubu to forget about the 2027 permutations and focus on governance.
The Nigerian Presidency has said it will no longer respond to the criticisms of President Bola Tinubu’s administration by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
The presidency said it won’t dignify Atiku, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 election, with a response over his attacks on Tinubu as there are more pressing and important things to focus.
The Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation, Sunday Dare, made this known on Thursday.
Dare was reacting to the recent comments by the former Vice President where he advised President Tinubu to forget about the 2027 permutations and focus on governance.
Dare said the Tinubu government would focus its time and energy on running the country and bring succor to the people as it was done with Atiku.
He said, “We have a country to run, we are done with Atiku. Mr. President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was elected by Nigerians to run this country and that is the focus right now to bring succour to our people, to deliver on the reforms that are ongoing, that is what is important for now and that’s the focus.”
