The suspect was allegedly caught with large sums of money intended to sway voters, at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007 outside St. Stephen’s Primary School.
The arrest occurred around 9:00 am on election day, while Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa cast his vote at Polling Unit 6, Ward 4 in Obenla, Ilaje LGA.
Aiyedatiwa seeks re-election against 16 other candidates, including Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the off-cycle election.
