FRSC Urges Passengers to Report Reckless Driving

It said this at the launch of the 2024 ember month campaign in Lagos

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has called on passengers to report reckless drivers, emphasizing that it is a shared responsibility to reduce road crashes and fatalities.

Speaking at the launch of the 2024 ember month campaign in Lagos, Sector Commander Kehinde Hamsat said the initiative, themed “Speak Against Dangerous Driving: Crashes Kill More Passengers than Drivers,” aims to empower passengers to caution drivers and promote road safety.

Supported by Guinness Nigeria, the three-day campaign included public engagements, radio ads, and town hall meetings. Guinness Managing Director, Girish Sharma, advised drivers against alcohol consumption, stressing the importance of safety for all road users.
