According to a source, Nwasor had just finished work and was about to drive home when he stepped out of his car to answer a phone call

Dr. Donatus Nwasor, a medical doctor, was abducted by gunmen from his private clinic in Utagba-Uno, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Tuesday evening around 8:15 pm.

According to a source, Nwasor had just finished work and was about to drive home when he stepped out of his car to answer a phone call. Five armed men emerged from a nearby bush, attacked him, and dragged him into his car before driving off. The abduction was witnessed by an auxiliary nurse at the clinic, who raised the alarm.

Investigations revealed that the doctor’s car was later found abandoned near Iselegu Junction on the expressway leading to Asaba, with all doors open. Anti-Cult personnel who responded confirmed the car belonged to Dr. Nwasor.

Search efforts led to the discovery of a walkway sign near Obi-Ukpo in Onicha-Ukwuani, but the doctor’s whereabouts remain unknown. His family and the police have been notified. The Kwale Division of the Nigeria Police Force is investigating the matter, though no official comment was available at the time of reporting.
