  • The jaw-dropping tragedy happened after a man simply identified as ‘Anaegbuachara’ allegedly killed his mother, grandmother, sister and her child.

A dark cloud of sorrow and apprehension has descended over the residents of Amaeze community in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State after four family members were killed by their relative.

The jaw-dropping tragedy happened after a man simply identified as ‘Anaegbuachara’ allegedly killed his mother, grandmother, sister and her child.

The suspect was said to have committed the heinous crime by poisoning the deceased for the purpose of money ritual.

A Facebook user identified as Sen Chijinkem Ugwuanyi shared a video of the unsettling occurrence on his Facebook page.

Although the suspect was said to have confessed to killing his parents and sister, along with her child, for money ritual, some locals in the community believed his actions may have been influenced by hard drugs.

A video of Anaegbuachara being questioned by members of his community has gone viral on social media.

According to the suspect, his friend, ‘Morroco’ connected him to a Kogi State native doctor, who resides in Nsukka, that instructed him to poison and sacrifice his mother.

However, his grandma, sister and her two children happened to be visiting his mother and ate the poisoned food together.

DAILY POST reports that one of his sister’s children, a male, survived and was rushed to the hospital. However, he is said to be mentally unstable at the moment.

Anaegbuachara has since been paraded around the community by his kinsmen. He was also compelled by the community members to kneel beside his mother’s tomb and beg her for forgiveness.

It is gathered that the suspect is now in Police custody and native doctor who prepared the charm for him has also been arrested.
