He also highlighted the state’s focus on social intervention programs to reduce poverty and unemployment, aiming to steer youth away from crime and radicalization.

Governor Sani announced the allocation of two parcels of land for the Nigerian Air Force to establish an air wing and construct post-service housing in Kaduna City.

Additionally, the state provided 10,000 seedlings to the Nigerian Defence Academy Biodiversity Conservation Centre as part of efforts to combat climate change.

The ceremony saw Governor Sani being decorated with the Nigerian Legion emblem. He, in turn, decorated senior military, paramilitary, and government officials.

The Secretary to the Kaduna State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere, also announced donations of ₦1.5 million on behalf of the State Executive Council and ₦500,000 on behalf of state workers.

The event underscored the state’s commitment to honoring the bravery and sacrifices of Nigeria’s Armed Forces while supporting their families and welfare.
